These 11 books are nominated for the Berkeley Mock Newbery Book Club program for 2018-19.

Participating 4th and 5th grade students will vote by January 25, 2019, for the book they believe is the most distinguished contribution to children's literature in the United States. Super exciting!

The American Library Association will announce the "official" Newbery Awards and Honors on Monday morning, January 28, 2019.
